If you want to run a WordPress website, or you have been running a WordPress website and you want to switch web hosts, then I’m sure you’ve been considering both Flywheel & WP Engine.  These are both trusted, big names in the website hosting industry, and would both be great choices – but like most hosting options, they do have their differences.

I am going to compare plans for Flywheel & WP Engine that are $115/month or lower.  If you need a bigger plan, then consider one of these high traffic website options.  Otherwise, these are great plans to consider:

If you are a complete beginner, then Flywheel Tiny would be the best choice; it is the cheapest and your traffic would be small enough to fit with the plan (and you can always upgrade plans once your visits increase).  If you’re switching web hosts and have one website then Flywheel Professional would be the best choice because it allows for the most visitors per month and Flywheel would migrate your site over for you.  Also, one plus of Flywheel over WP Engine is that they do not charge overages for exceeding your monthly visitors, which is good because no one likes getting charges they aren’t expecting.  But on the other hand, if you are just starting out and your business has international customers, then having a free global CDN is very attractive because the CDN can make the website faster for international visitors so the WP Engine Startup might be the most affordable option for you.  So, really, compare all of these plans, choose whatever works best for your budget and your website and whichever you choose, feel good that your WordPress website(s) are in good hands!
